EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF KANJANI

Kanjani means “how” in the Zulu language, which is important in our journey as we explore the ways we overcame our struggles and found community in each other. Despite our differences, we have found our place and are excited to share this with others.

With voices as diverse as the city itself, this new Atlanta choir is redefining the choral experience for young artists in Atlanta. Established on September 14th, 2024, Kanjani is an ensemble that unites talented singers from different backgrounds to create a rich and dynamic sound. With our artistry, we bring a fresh twist and energy to choral singing through the performance of classical, world and contemporary music. Through our passion, we are able to provide a community for young artists to grow and foster their artistic excellence.

We are comprised of singers from different schools with diverse backgrounds and diverse aspirations and career goals. We are dedicated, passionate and ambitious artists who are excited about music and its powerful presence in our journey. We hope that Kanjani can inspire others and show that harmony can occur not only despite our differences, but because of them. We represent who we are and who can be.
